The Washington Officials Association this week distributed a specific set of instructions to ensure proper operation of game and play clocks at stadiums and field across the state.
In drafting the guidelines, the football committee for the WOA noted the benefit to having game clocks at the various high school venues. They also acknowledged the difficulties that arise when clocks are improperly operated.
